Prior Engagements

Interactive Learning (XP Embedded)
A leading interactive learning company engaged SSS to port Windows XP Embedded into WAN-connected site controllers.

Storage Area Network (BSD, VxWorks, Linux)
SSS modified a BSD kernel for new SAN product based upon MIPS architecture for one of the largest SAN providers.  On two other engagements, SSS engineers implemented both VxWorks and Linux-based system software solutions for SANs  developed by large disk drive companies.

Satellite Modem (VxWorks)
Working with a major web-caching software company, SSS ported VxWorks to a satellite modem to host applications that worked previously only on Linux.

Wearable Computer (Linux)

A large telecommunications company engaged SSS to port and customize embedded Linux for a small "wearable" computer. 

Telecommunication System (TI DSP)

A large telecommunications product company engaged SSS to write diagnostic and operating code for their large multi-DSP based rack system.
