Device Drivers

SSS has the tools, development kits and experience to develop drivers for a wide range of devices, on any major operating system.

Prior Engagements

Network Attached Storage Driver (Windows and Solaris)

A Boulder company chose SSS to implement NT and W2K drivers for a storage area network which provided transparent access to the NAS as if it were a local disk drive.

Ethernet Driver (VxWorks)

SSS wrote an Ethernet driver for VxWorks to support a new Ethernet adapter chip for a major router manufacturer.

USB Host Driver (BSD)

A major DSL modem manufacturer engaged SSS to implement a USB host driver and to develop diagnostic and test software for it.

Exchange Server Manager (Windows)

A Colorado middleware provider asked SSS to develop a driver that would make remote storage transparent to its Exchange Server management software.

FibreChannel (Linux)

SSS has ported and enhanced FibreChannel drivers in a number of telecommunications products.  

TouchScreen (Linux, WinCE, Windows XP)

SSS has developed and enhanced touchscreen drivers for a major touchscreen manufacturer.
